Who operates this website

This website supports the services of LapZone Laptop Service Center, No. 7, Kannadivaapa Complex, G.H. Road, Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, India. For service/privacy enquiries email support@lapzonermd.com, or contact the service center on +91 73057 14050 or +91 74020 14050.

Google account information

When Google sign-in is enabled and you choose to use it, the application requests basic sign-in information: your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile picture. This identifies your account and links your service requests to you. The application does not request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files or Google contacts, and does not use Google account information for personalized advertising.

Service-request information

A booking records the customer name, phone number, device or brand, reported issue, service type and the details you provide. Model and serial details are optional when that feature is enabled. Onsite service also requires your visit address and selected map coordinates. The service center may add technician assignments, diagnosis, repair updates, parts, estimates, approval decisions, charges, payment records, warranty information and service history.

You can view your own bookings. Authorized administrators manage service requests and staff access; technicians can access jobs assigned to them. Internal staff notes are not shown in customer service history. Avoid putting device passwords or payment-card information into service descriptions.

Voice and location tools

Speech-to-text may process audio through the speech service provided by your browser or device. If you submit the resulting text as your issue description, that text becomes part of the booking. You can preview or remove a voice note before submitting. A voice note submitted with a booking is stored in private Cloudflare R2 and can be played by you, authorized administrators, and the assigned technician.

Location access is requested through your browser when you choose the location button. Onsite coordinates are saved when you submit the booking. Place search uses Photon/Komoot, map tiles use OpenStreetMap, and Google Maps links/embeds use Google. These providers may receive your map/search requests and ordinary connection information. Check their privacy information when using their services.

Hosting, storage and embedded content

The application runs on Cloudflare Workers. Service/account records are stored using Cloudflare D1, and administrator-uploaded website images are stored using Cloudflare R2. Authorized staff access is used to administer your service. The website can display externally hosted images and an Elfsight reviews widget; external content providers may receive ordinary connection data and use their own cookies or storage. Google sign-in is operated by Google.

Payments, invoices and password resets

Cash and UPI collections are manual service-center records confirmed by authorized staff. A QR scan alone does not mark a booking paid. Payment records may include the amount, method, staff confirmation and transaction reference. Paid invoices can be downloaded as PDFs. Brevo processes booking alerts, sign-in codes, invoice PDFs and administrator reset messages. Mail forwarding uses Cloudflare Email Routing. Reset links expire after 30 minutes, work once and invalidate existing account sessions when used. Reset tokens are stored as hashes; queued reset-link payloads are encrypted.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential cookies maintain your login session and protect the Google sign-in flow. Google sign-in sessions currently last up to 30 days; optional staff-password sessions last up to one day. Temporary sign-in cookies expire after ten minutes. Email sign-in codes expire after ten minutes and can only be used once. Language preferences and promotion-dismissal state use browser storage. During sign-in, the booking form saves a temporary draft in the current tab. It can contain your contact details, visit address, coordinates and voice note. A successful booking clears this draft. Signing out invalidates your application session; you can also clear browser storage.

Keeping and managing records

Service and account records are kept for service administration and follow-up. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, contact the service center using the numbers above and identify the relevant account or booking. The center will verify the request and review it against applicable record-keeping needs. The website does not currently provide an automatic account-deletion screen.

Protection and changes

The application uses HTTPS, protected session cookies and server-side role/ownership checks. Optional staff passwords, when enabled, are stored as password hashes. If the website's information practices change, this page will be updated. Google API use is also subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
